The Southern Maryland SLAM Organization is recruiting players and coaches for the upcoming
2007 Fall Season

Please send Player BIOS and coaching resumes to slamsoftball@comcast.net.

WHAT KIND OF PLAYERS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

FUNDRAISING

Please support our organization through our latest fundraising effort to offset our expenses

SPONSORS/DONATIONS

The SLAM Organization charges each player a registration fee which is offset by fundraising throughout the year. However, these sources of income are not enough to cover all of the expenses of the program. Thus, the SLAM team relies heavily on the charity of others, individuals and businesses, to act as sponsors for the program. Sponsorships can be made the form of goods, services, or money!

The Typical Fastpitch Player

At one time she looked cute as a button dressed in pink with ponytails.  She had tea parties with her stuffed animals and dolls and helped Mom bake cookies. She had been, and always will be Mommy’s and Daddy’s little girl.

Today the Fastpitch player still has the same little girl ...

On behalf of PONY Baseball and Softball I would like to personally thank you and the Southern Maryland SLAM for your contribution to the PONY Scholarship Fund. It is through the commitment and dedication of people like you that permit PONY to continue working toward our mission to Protect Our Nation's Youth.

The Scholarship Application is on the web site.  It may be downloaded or a printed application may be secured from PONY Headquarters.  Any PONY player or graduate who has played at least two years in either Pony, Colt or Palomino in either baseball or softball is eligible to be considered for the scholarships.  Four $1,500 scholarships are awarded annually, one each to the North, East, South and West Zones. Thanks again for your contribution.
